Thunder Pro A/V and Smart Auto Power Switch.
Thunder Pro A/V has a Smart Auto Power Switch. It means that you don't need to turn the drive with the switch. The drive will automatically turns on when you plug the drive with Firewire 400, Firewire 800, and USB. Also, when you unmount your drive or drag it to trash you don't need to turn the switch off, just disconnect the cable. If you are using eSATA cable you have to turn the drive on/off manually.
